What people ask about the cost.
- Is there a hosted version?
- No. Sidekick Agents runs on your own Ubuntu server, in Docker. There is no hosted service to subscribe to.
- What else will I pay for?
- The server it runs on. If you connect cloud models or cloud speech services, their providers charge you for what you use. Models and speech that run on your own hardware cost you the hardware.
- When will prices be final?
- They have not been set. Until they are, the figures on this page are placeholders, and the banner at the top stays.
- What does the server need?
- Four CPU cores and 8 GB of memory with cloud models and speech; more to run speech or a model locally. The specifications page has the rest.
